Any woman (or man?) who wants to enhance her body’s ability to produce the proper hormones in her body, might look for the Hot Flash Cookbook, which I found in the food coop.
It’s full of wonderful recipes – though you could probably find them other ways, say by web-searching for hormone-enhancing foods, and the searching for recipes.
In any case, here’s my fennel-orange salad which I enjoyed so much the other day, I just had to photograph it! – and I will enjoy another tomorrow.
It’s simple:
1 fennel bulb
2 oranges
a light dressing made with orange juice and olive oil
chopped walnuts.
Food for health!
